ITINERARIES
“SCIROCCO” ITINERARY (weather permitting)
DURATION: 4/5 HOURS
The excursion of the fishing tourism begins with the reception and embarkation from the port of Ognina, coast that is part of the marine protected area of Plemmirio, at 7.00 am. The day begins with the navigation to the fishing area with the opportunity to have a chat with Captain Mirko who will be happy to explain all the equipment on board. In this excursion the technique that will be used will be that of the “Rete da posta”. Once you reach the fishing point, you will prepare for the recovery of the nets, you will be able to participate actively in all the operations becoming part of the crew for a day, experiencing the excitement of living a routine day with the fishermen and discover with them the best fishing areas and the secrets of the trade. Upon return we will stop for a short stop where you can enjoy an aperitif in total relaxation and immerse yourself in the crystal clear waters.
“LIBECCIO” ITINERARY (weather permitting)

AFTERNOON DEPARTURE
Unlike the “Scirocco” excursion, the “Libeccio” itinerary will allow you to participate in fishing operations from the moment the net is thrown into the sea to the recovery of the catch. Immediately after completing the first phase of fishing you will have to wait about two hours. During this waiting time, an aperitif will be served, which you can enjoy while observing the enchanting wonders of the natural landscapes that the coasts of Plemmirio give us and the spectacle, always extremely exciting, which is that of the sunset. Taking advantage of the colorful nuances that are formed by the meeting of the lights of this phenomenon and the clear waters, you can immerse yourself in this splendor to make this experience authentic.
CRUISING
“BOREA” Itinerary (weather permitting)

A rejuvenating boat ride to admire the beauty of Syracuse from another point of view, that of the sea.
Departing from the port of Ognina to the lighthouse “Capo Murro di Porco”, you will sail along the coast of the marine protected area of Plemmirio, where you will find yourself in front of a breathtaking scenery consisting of cliffs overlooking the sea. Benefiting from a privileged view, you will come across a fascinating and unique landscape that frames a backdrop, clear and colorful, populated by different species such as tuna, snapper, grouper, amberjack, dolphins and varieties of fish that migrate through our seas. With a short stop for a refreshment of fruit and drinks, you will have the opportunity to immerse yourself in the crystal clear waters and relax while listening to the sound of the sea. What makes this excursion unique is the experience of fishing “a Traina” in which you can actively participate together with Captain Mirko.
